Metals and precious metals recovery from printed circuit boards PCBs

The demand for electric and electronic devices is increasing daily, incrementing, therefore, dramatically the number of printed circuit boards which are discarded polluting the environment. Through a high technology, non contaminating recycling processing plant, PM-Group is recovering precious metals such as gold, silver and palladium from printed circuit boards.

In accordance with the environmental protection world wide concern and the need for greater enterprise social accountability, we are committing ourselves simultaneously with this industrial initiative in the promotion of peaceful living and violence reduction among youths of the most deprived areas of our city.  Together with the Consulting Foundation on Health and Social Development Programs – FUNDAPS  (Fundación para la Asesoría a Programas de Salud y Desarrollo Social) and youth organizations of the District of Aguablanca in Cali (Colombia) we are developing an intervention model to reduce violence.  Highly competitive products of great demand by electric and building sectors will be produced from the glass fiber obtained after the board recycling process by these youth organizations with our technological support.

PM-Group is convinced that this idea constitutes an important contribution to the development of innovative experiences for poverty and violence reduction integrating environmental  protection, economic and social profitability.
